Cheaper reward cars
From this series, reward cars cost less: overall rewards 60 and 120 Playlist Points instead of 80 and 160, seasonal rewards 15 and 30 instead of 20 and 40. Playground said the change was "based on community feedback" and makes the cars easier to earn "including those without access to the game's online content". A new filter in the Garage and Autoshow shows the cars that meet the week's Festival Playlist restrictions. See Updates and Series for how the playlist works.
Two permanent Tokyo routes
Series 7 adds two permanent race routes in Tokyo City: the Edo Circuit Road Race and the Shuto Charge Street Race. They stay after the series ends. Playground has not published their lengths. Races and Event Types and Street Races and Touge Battles cover the event types.
The IKEA Prop Pack
The IKEA Prop Pack is 35 furniture props for Customizable Garages, tied to Xbox and IKEA's gaming furniture collection. It came with the update; Playground's posts give no price for it. EventLab and Horizon CoLab covers the other prop packs.
25 Years of Xbox and Halo
For the 25 Years of Xbox, every player gets a Halo-themed livery for the 2025 GR GT Prototype, one of the Cover Cars. In week 2 (Autumn), the Photo Challenge awards the Master Chief Outfit, and collecting 15 Gashapon Machine collectibles at Daikoku earns the Halo Shield Recharge car horn. The Edamame Time Attack Circuit from Series 4 returns to the Horizon Stadium as an Evolving World feature (see Time Attack Circuits).
Other extras: the Tower Power badge, three car horns (Keyboard Typing, Pedestrian Crossing Chirp, Pedestrian Crossing Cuckoo) and the RingRing emote.
