Reward cars

Seasonal cars cost 20 and 40 Playlist Points. Besides the three new-to-Horizon cars, Playground said the other rewards let newer players catch up on cars that had been exclusives in earlier games.

Autumn 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, 2016 Abarth 695 Biposto

Sign language and accessibility

American and British Sign Language were promised before launch but not ready on May 19. Since Aug 10 an interpreter can appear in a movable picture-in-picture window during cinematics, with a choice of background color. The same update fixed three screen reader problems: the What's Next? screen, Wheelspin prizes and the moment after the ANNA tutorial. Accessibility and AutoDrive covers every option.

Mascots, props and the Edamame circuit

The series theme was the mascots, the smashable collectibles placed around each region (see Collectibles). The update added:

  • 47 mascot-themed props for EventLab and Horizon CoLab
  • The Edamame Time Attack Circuit, a temporary mascot-themed circuit at the Horizon Stadium (see Time Attack Circuits); it returned in Series 7
  • The Shimanoyama Heat collectible
  • Three car horns, Fus-Roh-Dah, Mascot and Pinball Machine
  • The Party Time and Hot Lap badges and a Dango outfit

Fixes

The Aug 10 update also fixed "Garage Full" problems, stopped buying a car at a Car Meet from also unlocking its livery, and gave the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio a new stock exhaust sound. Series 4 Hotfix 1, Steam version 1.430.771.0 on Aug 24, restored Road Discovery progress that some players had lost in the Series 4 update, and closed a hole that let anyone download and edit other players' vinyls (see Customization and Liveries).

Car Pass cars

Playground's own posts and Forza Support disagree on the order of this series' Car Pass cars. Forza Support's Car Pass page, updated Oct 21, 2026, gives:

Date Car
Aug 13 1987 Porsche #203 Porsche AG 961
Aug 20 1957 Ford Thunderbird
Aug 27 1968 Alfa Romeo Autodelta Tipo 33/2 Daytona
Sep 3 1983 Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo RS

Source: Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass, Forza Support. Playground's Aug 10 Series 4 post instead put the Alfa Romeo on Aug 13, the Skyline on Aug 27 and the Porsche on Sep 3. The same four cars arrived either way. See Car Pass.
