EventLab and Horizon CoLab
EventLab is Forza Horizon 6's creation tool for custom races, challenges and stunts, and it can now build anywhere in Japan, even in the sky. Horizon CoLab adds real-time multiplayer building for up to 12 players, a first for the series, and from Jan 26, 2027 EventLab creations are shared with PS5.
EventLab is Forza Horizon 6's toolset for making your own races, challenges and stunts, and in Forza Horizon 6 you can start a build anywhere in the world, including in the sky, then share it with every other player. The big addition is Horizon CoLab: real-time multiplayer building for up to 12 players, the first time EventLab has let people build together. EventLab is in the pause menu, beside the Collection Journal and Car Collection. Since its return from Forza Horizon 5, Playground has kept adding props with the monthly updates, and from the PS5 release on Jan 26, 2027 EventLab races and Prefabs are cross-platform.

What is new in EventLab?
Playground's Apr 20, 2026 sandbox post lists the upgrades:
- Build anywhere. Start a build at any spot in the world, the sky included, and move the start grid in the Route Creator to join it to a route.
- A ready grid. Entering EventLab generates 12 grid positions if there is room; on a road they snap to a classic grid, and you can rearrange them into a drag lineup, spread them out, or face them in a circle.
- Prop Stamp places the same object again and again in one action.
- Free Drive lets you test a build while you make it, without changing the event's driving line.
- Undo and Redo for solo builders.
- Precision Mode, a slow camera for placing props, is back, and the Orbit Camera stays, switchable in the options.
Super7, Forza Horizon 5's challenge creator, is now part of EventLab: its Challenge Creator gets the same upgrades, and challenges can be played anywhere in Japan, listed in their own EventLab category rather than as points on the map.
How does Horizon CoLab work?
Horizon CoLab lets players build in EventLab together, live. Playground's examples are building events or areas to explore, or placing ramps and smashables for friends to drive through in the open world. Up to 12 can build at once (features post). Undo and Redo are for solo builders only. Customizable Garages and The Estate use the same tools but are solo building only; see Customizable Garages and The Estate.
Sharing and finding creations
Finished creations can be shared with the Horizon community, and Playground improved the Trending logic for finding new ones. When Forza Horizon 6 reaches PS5 on Jan 26, 2027, all user-generated content is cross-platform from day one: EventLab races, Prefabs, Garages, Estates, Liveries and Tuning Setups, shared across Xbox, PC and PS5 (PS5 Release Date). Prefabs are named in that list, but Playground has not described them in the posts read for this page, as of Nov 3, 2026.

The IKEA Prop Pack is for garage builders: Playground's Series 7 post gives it to Custom Garage builders and does not mention EventLab, and it ties the pack to Xbox and IKEA's gaming furniture collection. The 7-Eleven konbini came from the Series 6 Car Meet in Nangan (Car Meets and Drag Meets).
Fixes
The Series 3 update on Jul 13, 2026 fixed an EventLab duplication exploit. Other fixes are on Known Issues and Fixes.
