Customizable Garages
Every player house in Forza Horizon 6 has a Customizable Garage that you fill with props, furniture, lights and posters and up to four displayed cars. Layouts can be shared and downloaded, other players can visit with a drone camera, and Series 7 added 35 IKEA props.
Every player house in Forza Horizon 6 has a Customizable Garage: you fill it with as many props as you can afford (structures, furniture, lights and posters), mix them into your own theme, choose where your character poses and display up to four cars. Removing a prop refunds its full price. Other players can visit your garage and fly through it with a drone camera, and layouts can be shared and downloaded, across every platform. The latest addition is the IKEA Prop Pack of 35 furniture props, in Series 7 on Nov 2, 2026.

What can you customize?
Playground's Apr 20, 2026 post lists the props, which you can mix and match into a theme ("or go for a chaotic look"), the cars on display, and the spot where your character poses. You can inspect your cars in Forzavista from the garage. Design Director Torben Ellert said the aim was "giving players agency over the place where they keep their cars". Playground posted a walkthrough, "Forza Horizon 6 - Welcome to My Garage!", on Apr 22, 2026.
Prop packs
Series updates add props that work in garages, EventLab and The Estate: 52 in Series 3, 47 mascot props in Series 4, 17 in Series 6's 7-Eleven pack, and in Series 7 the IKEA Prop Pack, 35 pieces from an Xbox and IKEA gaming collection such as YXSTABY, BILLY, KALLAX and LACK. See Series 7: City Life.
How many cars can a garage show?
Up to four, by Playground's description. KeenGamer's house guide says two houses, the Hakusan Mountain Lodge and the Vision House, each add an extra garage display slot; Playground has not said whether that means five cars there. Showing three different cars at once earns "Show Me What You've Got!".
Sharing and visiting
You can visit other players' garages to see their cars and characters, moving freely through every level with a drone camera, and download community layouts to use in your own. Garages are cross-platform user content, PS5 included from Jan 26, 2027. Building is solo only.
Reviews
Garages were among the systems critics liked least. Dexerto's reviewer spent about an hour clearing debris and arranging cars, struggled with the tools and camera, and abandoned the feature. The larger building space is The Estate.
