Regions

Forza Horizon 6's Japan has 10 regions. Nine are named by their Treasure Cars: Minamino, Tokyo City, Ohtani, Ito, Shimanoyama, Nangan, Hokubu, Takashiro and Sotoyama; the tenth is very likely Legend Island, though Playground has not listed the ten together.

Forza Horizon 6 has 10 regions, by the achievement "Racking Up The Miles: Discover all 10 regions". Nine are named by the Treasure Cars hidden one per region: Minamino, Tokyo City, Ohtani, Ito, Shimanoyama, Nangan, Hokubu, Takashiro and Sotoyama. The tenth is very likely Legend Island, the endgame area for Horizon Legends, but as of Nov 3, 2026 no Playground page lists all ten in one place, so that is labeled uncertain here. The whole map is on Japan Map.

Tokyo City

Tokyo City is the first region the game sends you to, and Playground calls it "our largest urban area ever". It holds downtown with Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower, the suburbs, the docks with their Horizon Rush course, and the Daikoku Car Meet; the Rainbow Bridge is on its southern coast. Two player houses are here, the Tokyo House and Soko 78, and 33 activities completed in the region earn "Tokyo Resident". Its Treasure Car is the 1991 Nissan Figaro. Everything else is on Tokyo City.

Ohtani

Ohtani holds the Horizon Festival Site, the hub of the campaign, along with Mei's House, your first base, and the Vision House, the last house to unlock. PC Gamer describes it as "a very large region with lots of radio towers." Its PR Stunts have their own achievement, "Crowd Pleaser": 36 Stars from PR Stunts in Ohtani. The prologue's Legend Convoy ends here, driven from Shimanoyama. Its Treasure Car is the 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE.

Hokubu

Hokubu is farm country: the game's prologue opens in its fields in a 2024 Nissan GT-R Nismo, and the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit is one of the six starting events. Design Director Torben Ellert named that circuit his favorite, for its "communal experience of people driving their cars" on small, rundown tracks. The Yashiki House, which unlocks The Estate, is in Hokubu, by KeenGamer's list. Its Treasure Car is the 1981 BMW M1.

Shimanoyama

Shimanoyama holds the Horizon Stadium and its Aftermarket dealership, which each series rebrands, and the Shimanoyama Circuit, the permanent Drift Attack arena since Sep 7, 2026. The town of Narai-Juku and the Bandai Azuma Skyline Drift Zone are here too, as is the Fuji Unkai House. Its Treasure Car is the 1987 Porsche 959.

Nangan

Nangan holds the Irokawa Space Center, where a prologue jump watches a rocket launch and where a Horizon Rush course and a Drag Meet strip sit. In Series 6 its 7-Eleven Car Meet overlooked Mt. Fuji, from Oct 8 to Nov 5, 2026. Its Treasure Car is the 2005 Ford GT.

Ito

Ito is "one of the largest regions" and very mountainous, with a Wind Farm at its northern tip (the Wind Farm Cross Country race is a starting event) and the Minka House. Its Treasure Car is the 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo.

Sotoyama

Sotoyama is the snowy alpine region. It holds the Sotoyama Ski Resort Horizon Rush, the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route between towering snow walls and the Hakusan Mountain Lodge. With snow tires, its roads can be driven on snow in any season. Its Treasure Car is the 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale. The mountains are on Mount Fuji and Touge Roads.

Takashiro

Takashiro has temples and a waterfall in its western corner and Soni Circuit in its east. The Festival Playlist's weekly Treasure Hunt chest was hidden here in October 2026. Its Treasure Car is the 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR.

Minamino

Minamino has a golf course in its center beside the Airfield Trail, a dirt race and one of the six starting events. Its Treasure Car is the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, the first one Mei's clues lead to, after the first Wristband.

Is Legend Island the tenth region?

Probably, but it is not confirmed. Legend Island is part of the map and opens only to players with all seven Wristbands, which would explain why it holds no Treasure Car. No Playground page read lists the ten regions together, and fan guides that claim other structures (such as "7 major regions") cite no official source. See Legend Island.
