Forza Horizon 6 has 15 Barn Finds, by PC Gamer's count, unlocked as rumors when players earn Discover Japan Stamps in the Collection Journal, mostly two per Stamp rank, from a Honda NSX-R GT to the Mazda 787B.
Forza Horizon 6 has 15 Barn Finds, by PC Gamer's count (Rory Norris, May 15, 2026), hidden cars whose rumors unlock as the player earns Discover Japan Stamps. Playground Games confirms only the mechanism: Barn Finds return, with clues given as players collect Stamps for the Collection Journal. They come mostly two to a Stamp rank, from a Honda NSX-R GT at the first rank to a Nissan Tomica Skyline Super Silhouette and the Le Mans-winning Mazda 787B at the last, and each must be repaired before it can be driven. IGN's review counted "the most barn finds to date" in a Horizon game, on top of the Treasure Cars.

How do Barn Finds unlock?
Discover Japan is the exploration path of progression: Stamps come from collecting and customizing cars, photographing murals, smashing mascots, finding landmarks, day tours with Mei, Street and Touge Races and the Raku-Raku delivery job (Playground, May 12, 2026). Stamps unlock Player Houses, Barn Find Rumors and The Estate. The seven ranks, in PC Gamer's names, are Visitor (yellow), Sightseer (green), Traveller (blue), Pathfinder (pink), Navigator (orange), Adventurer (purple) and Master Explorer (gold), and PC Gamer finds Stories the biggest source of progress (PC Gamer).
Once found, a Barn Find must be repaired before use, or the repair can be rushed for credits (PC Gamer). The paid Treasure Map add-on ($2.99 on Steam) reveals the exact location of every Barn Find.

Sources: rank and car from PC Gamer (Rory Norris), May 15, 2026, which gives no model years. The years and classes are from Playground's car list, read Nov 3, 2026, where these 15 are exactly the cars whose only source is the Collection Journal (with the Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition, a Drift Attack reward), so they cannot be bought in the Autoshow. PC Gamer's guide shows each barn's spot on the map.
Ten of the 15 are Japanese, which suits the setting; the last two are both race cars, the Tomica Skyline Super Silhouette and the 787B, Mazda's rotary Le Mans car, rated R 988, near the top of the R class (see Car Classes and Performance Index).
Barn Finds and Treasure Cars
Both are hidden cars found by exploring, but they work differently. Barn Finds come from Stamp rumors and need a repair; Treasure Cars come from Mei's photo clues, starting after the first Wristband, and can be driven as soon as they are restored. There are 15 Barn Finds and, as of Nov 3, 2026, ten Treasure Cars.
