Forza Horizon 6's cover cars are the 2025 GR GT Prototype, making its video game debut, and the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser. Both are in the Autoshow and Wheelspins for every player; the GR GT is S1 771 and the Land Cruiser C 456.
Forza Horizon 6 has two cover cars: the 2025 GR GT Prototype, "making its video game debut in Forza Horizon 6", and the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser, revealed at the Xbox Developer_Direct on Jan 22, 2026. Both are Japanese, both are in the base game, and both can be bought in the Autoshow or won from Wheelspins: Playground's car list rates the GR GT Prototype S1 771 and the Land Cruiser C 456. They pair a track-bred sports car with an off-roader, and they are the two cars drifting below Mount Fuji in the game's key art.

2025 GR GT Prototype
Playground describes the GR GT Prototype as "a race-derived road car" from Toyota Gazoo Racing, and Forza Horizon 6 was its first appearance in any video game. The car list files it under the make "GR", not Toyota, in the Super GT car type, at S1 771 stock (car list, Nov 3, 2026). Upgrades can move it into a higher class (see Car Classes and Performance Index).
The Series 7 update on Nov 2, 2026 gave it three new engine swaps, a 3.5L V6-PDSC, a 3.7L V6 and a 2.4L F4 (patch notes). Dexerto's undated tier list puts it in its top tier (Best Cars).
25 Years of Xbox and Halo livery
With Series 7, City Life, Playground sends every player a 25 Years of Xbox and Halo livery for the 2025 GR GT Prototype through the Message Center. The same celebration adds the Master Chief Outfit from the week 2 Photo Challenge and a Halo Shield Recharge car horn for finding 15 Gashapon Machine collectibles at Daikoku in week 2. 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser
The Land Cruiser is a hybrid off-roader, and Playground's Mar 7, 2026 post on it lists a locking center differential, low-range gearing, crawl control and hill-descent control. It is C 456 in the Sports Utility Heroes type (car list), so it is eligible for the early Festival events, which are open only to C class cars until the Yellow Wristband (Playground). An earlier Land Cruiser, the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37, was a Series 1 winter reward.
How do you get the cover cars?
Buy them with credits in the Autoshow, or win them from a Wheelspin; neither is tied to an edition, the Car Pass or a paid pack (car list, Nov 3, 2026). Playground has not published Autoshow prices for them.
Does each edition have its own cover car?
Not as far as Playground has said. It names the two cover cars for the game as a whole and has not given the Standard, Deluxe or Premium edition a cover car of its own, as of Nov 3, 2026. See Editions and Price.
