Forza Horizon 6 costs $69.99 for the Standard Edition, $99.99 for the Deluxe and $119.99 for the Premium, with a $59.99 Premium Upgrade, the same on Xbox, Steam and PS5 as of Nov 3, 2026. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass include the Standard Edition.

4:46 Forza Horizon 6 comes in three editions: Standard at $69.99 (£59.99, €69.99), Deluxe at $99.99 and Premium at $119.99, plus a $59.99 Premium Upgrade that adds the Premium extras to a Standard or Deluxe copy or a Game Pass membership. The prices are the same on Xbox, Steam and, from Jan 26, 2027, PS5, and Steam showed no discount on Nov 3, 2026. The Standard Edition is included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The Premium Edition's early access, four days before the May 19, 2026 launch, is history on Xbox and PC; on PS5 it means play from Jan 21, 2027 instead of Jan 26 (see PS5 Release Date). The Italian Passion Car Pack came later than the rest: it was added to garages on Jul 14, 2026 with Series 3: Italian Exotics. The two expansions are Expansion 1, due Jan 21, 2027, and a second "at a later date".

What does the Premium Upgrade do?

The Premium Upgrade sells Premium's extras on their own, for anyone who already has the game through the Standard or Deluxe Edition, Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass; on PS5 it is for Standard or Deluxe owners. Since the Oct 8, 2026 announcements, Playground describes it as giving "immediate access" to everything released so far, plus both expansions as they arrive. For a Game Pass player it is the cheapest way to get everything: $59.99 on top of the membership, against $119.99 for the Premium Edition. Deluxe owners pay the same $59.99 even though they already have the Welcome Pack and the Car Pass.

Is the Premium Edition worth it?

That depends on how much of it you would buy anyway. On Steam, as of Nov 3, 2026, the add-ons sold alone add up to more than the $50 difference between the Standard and Premium Editions:

The Welcome Pack, VIP, Car Pass, both car packs and the Expansions Bundle come to $119.94 bought one by one, so with the $69.99 Standard Edition that is $189.93, and Premium at $119.99 saves about $70 for someone who wants all of it. Someone who wants only the expansions pays $119.98 for the Standard Edition and the bundle, a cent less than Premium, so Premium is the better buy there too. The expansions have no announced standalone price, name or content beyond "a new location, new gameplay and more cars" as of Nov 3, 2026. VIP's value is weighed on VIP Membership and Welcome Pack, and the weekly cars on Car Pass.

GamesRadar+ pointed out that the $120 Premium Edition costs more than Forza Horizon 5's and still leaves some paid content out, such as the Treasure Map and single cars. Steam listed 34 DLC entries for the game on Nov 3, 2026.

What do the car packs contain?

The Welcome Pack holds five pre-tuned cars, a 2021 BMW M4 Competition Coupé, 2018 Ferrari FXX-K Evo, 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R, 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series and 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR, plus a car voucher and clothing; details are on VIP Membership and Welcome Pack.

The Time Attack Car Pack holds eight time attack builds: the 1990 Honda #19 101 Motorsport CRX WTAC, 1992 Honda #21 Hardrace/JDMYard Civic WTAC, 2001 Honda #33 BYP Racing Integra WTAC, 2004 Honda #52 Evasive Motorsports S2000 WTAC, 1990 Mitsubishi #269 Attacking the Clock Racing Minicab Time Attack, 1993 Nissan #32 Skyline WTAC 'Xtreme GTR', 2000 Nissan #36 Dream Project S15 Silvia WTAC and 1995 Toyota J&J Motorsport Supra WTAC. They suit the Time Attack Circuits.

The Italian Passion Car Pack holds four: the 2025 Ferrari F80, 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider, 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm and 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP. It is not part of the Car Pass. Car Pass, VIP and car pack cars are each a one-time free addition; claiming one again later costs credits in the Autoshow.

0:27 Any full edition or the Premium Upgrade bought before May 19, 2026 on Xbox and PC came with a pre-tuned 2017 Ferrari J50, a car Ferrari built only 10 of, for 50 years of the brand in Japan. On PS5 the same bonus applies to purchases made before Jan 26, 2027 and is added after the prologue. Other free cars are on Free Cars and Loyalty Rewards.

What does Game Pass include?

Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass include the Standard Edition at no extra cost; console play needs Ultimate. Members who want the Premium content buy the Premium Upgrade. The tiers and Play Anywhere are on Game Pass, Cross-Play and Cross-Save.

Is there a physical edition?

Yes, on Xbox and PS5. The Xbox preload post addressed players "planning to purchase Forza Horizon 6 on disc", and the PS5 disc edition is sold at supporting retailers. Xbox also sold a Limited Edition Forza Horizon 6 controller ($89.99) and headset ($134.99) from May 19, 2026.
