The 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) Forza Edition is the best known.
Forza Horizon 6 has 19 Forza Edition cars on Playground Games' car list as of Nov 3, 2026: special versions of ordinary cars that come "fitted with extreme modifications", often several classes above the stock car. A 1989 Nissan S-Cargo, a D 131 delivery van in stock form, is S1 800 as a Forza Edition. None can be bought in the Autoshow for credits: they come from Wheelspins and the Festival Playlist, the Collection Journal, Aftermarket Cars and VIP Membership. The best known is the 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) Forza Edition, which tops Red Bull's fastest cars list. In the clip AR12Gaming (May 21, 2026) finds the 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex Forza Edition comes with a widebody kit and more engine swaps than the stock car.

- Wheelspins and the Festival Playlist (8): the Ford Mustang GT 2+2 Fastback, Ford F-150 XLT Lariat, Ford Super Duty F-450 DRW PLATINUM, Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II, Nissan S-Cargo, Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35), Porsche #3 917 LH and Wuling Sunshine S Forza Editions come from Wheelspins and as seasonal rewards.
- Collection Journal (5): the BMW M2, Jaguar XJ-S, Lexus LFA, Subaru Vivio RX-R and Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex Forza Editions are Journal rewards, and all but the Jaguar are also listed as seasonal rewards.
- Aftermarket (3): the 1973 Mazda RX-3, 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata and 2022 Subaru BRZ Forza Editions are bought where they are parked; see Aftermarket Cars. Aftermarket Cars in general can also be "rare Forza Edition cars".

Named builds
Before launch Playground picked out a track-spec 1985 Toyota Sprinter, a 1994 Subaru Vivio RX-R built for time attack, and the 1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR for VIP members. The 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition, "purpose-built to go sideways", arrived with Drift Attack on Sep 7, 2026: it is earned by completing Drift Attack in the Collection Journal, and a stock XJ-S joined the Autoshow at the same time. The Series 7 update on Nov 2, 2026 fixed a livery problem on the 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II Forza Edition (patch notes). The clip is XBOX ON's Aug 26, 2026 first look at Drift Attack, with Playground's designers showing the Jaguar.

Two Forza Editions made Red Bull's top 10 Fastest Cars of stock cars on Jun 22, 2026: the 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) Forza Edition first, at 304.8 mph, and the 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata Forza Edition tenth (Red Bull). Dexerto's undated tier list puts the MX-5 Miata Forza Edition and the Lotus Evija and Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Editions in its top tier (Dexerto). See Best Cars.
