Series 2, Horizon Decades, was the Forza Horizon 6 Festival Playlist from Jun 18 to Jul 16, 2026, built around cars from past decades, with the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (its Horizon debut) and the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430 as overall rewards. Its title update, version 375.327 on Jun 15, 2026, took on the first problem Playground had named after launch by rebalancing Drivatar difficulty, and a hotfix three days later restored The Eliminator and gave every player a free 2021 McLaren Sabre. The series has ended.

What else Horizon Decades added
The series brought a temporary Car Meet at the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit, an Evolving World change (see Car Meets and Drag Meets and Time Attack Circuits), and three badges: Festival Enjoyer, Time Traveler and Egg-cellent!. The Trial, a 6v6 best-of-three event for Gold Wristband holders that Series 1 had held back, returned to the playlist (see Multiplayer).
The Series 2 update, Jun 15
The Jun 15 update changed these parts of the game:
| Area | Change |
|---|---|
| Drivatars | AI difficulty rebalanced, and a race-start problem fixed |
| Drag Tires | No longer the best choice outside drag events |
| Horizon Play | XP needed between Levels 26 and 100 cut; players at Level 32 or above jumped to 100 and the "Maxed Out" achievement |
| Map | A Roads Driven percentage added |
| PC | Rain particles restored on the High preset |
| Daily Challenges | Series 1 points paid back to those who were short |

The Drivatar change answered Playground's own launch note that AI opponents were sometimes "too fast to compete with". Drivatars and Difficulty covers it. The Drag Tires change moved the car meta (see Upgrades and Tuning and Best Cars), and the Horizon Play change is on Skills, XP and Wheelspins.
The Eliminator and the free McLaren
Playground switched The Eliminator off in June over an exploit that paid unintended credits. Series 2 Hotfix 1, version 379.939 on Jun 18, closed the exploit, brought The Eliminator back, rebalanced rewards that Auto Drive could farm, and gave every player a 2021 McLaren Sabre "as a gesture of good will". Hotfix 2, version 382.893 on Jun 23, fixed the "High Five!", "Flying High" and "How Many Drifts!?" badges.
Lost saves
The same month, some players lost progress. Playground and Xbox investigated from Jun 11; Xbox shipped Gaming Services fixes on PC and a console update from Jun 12, and on Jul 2 a change made a lost save show a conflict dialog instead, where picking the Cloud save recovers it. Known Issues and Fixes has the full story.
