How to Make Money
Credits in Forza Horizon 6 come from races, Time Attack laps, Jobs such as the Raku-Raku delivery job, exploration and Collection Journal rewards, Wheelspins, Treasure Hunts and selling cars at the Auction House. VIP Membership doubles race rewards, and house perks add 10% in some event types.
Credits (CR) in Forza Horizon 6 come from races, Time Attack Circuits laps, Jobs, exploration and Collection Journal rewards, as Playground lists them, plus Wheelspins, weekly Treasure Hunts and selling cars to other players at the Auction House. The biggest multiplier is VIP Membership, a permanent 2x Credit boost on race rewards. Several Player Houses add 10% in certain event types. Playground has closed the famous fast methods: an Eliminator exploit in June 2026 and AutoDrive farming in July 2026. Those are history below, not instructions. Every figure here carries its date, since Playground rebalances rewards with each Series update.

Where do credits come from?
- Races. Festival and Discover Japan races pay out, and VIP doubles race rewards. Insider Gaming suggests lowering Drivatar difficulty to win more often; settings change at any time (Drivatars and Difficulty).
- Time Attack laps. Each lap at a Time Attack Circuit earns Credits and XP, and you start one just by driving through the gantry.
- Jobs. The Raku-Raku food delivery Job in Tokyo City is there for extra credits, Playground says; Jobs have Promotions to climb (Collection Journal and Discover Japan).
- Exploration and the Journal. Journal progress pays credits, Wheelspins and cars.
- Wheelspins. Spins can pay credits or cars worth selling (Skills, XP and Wheelspins).
- Festival Playlist. Weekly Treasure Hunts hide a chest; PC Gamer's October 2026 one in Takashiro held 100,000 CR, 5,000 XP and three Season Progress (Updates and Series).
- Your Estate. Insider Gaming reports that players receive Credits based on how many visits their design gets (May 14, 2026); see The Estate.

The Auction House
The Auction House is the player-to-player market where you list cars for credits and bid on others'. Playground's posts read for this page do not set out its rules in full; the one change on record is that the Series 3 update on Jul 13, 2026 removed its price cap for cars that cannot be bought in the Autoshow, such as Wheelspin and reward cars. Playground has not said what such cars sell for, and prices move with the market. A car you got free from the Car Pass, VIP or a Car Pack is a one-time addition: reclaiming it later costs credits, so think before selling one.
Spending less
Saving is earning. Fast travel costs nothing in Forza Horizon 6. Aftermarket Cars parked around Japan are secondhand, often discounted, and can be test-driven first. At Car Meets and Drag Meets you can buy the stock version of a car you like from the Autoshow on the spot. Soko 78's perk takes 5% off Autoshow prices.
The exploits Playground fixed
These are history. Each was closed, and Playground has reset or rebalanced rewards after them.
- The Eliminator credits exploit. Playground switched The Eliminator off over an unintended-credits exploit and restored it with Series 2 Hotfix 1 on Jun 18, 2026, giving every player a "2021 McLaren Sabre" "as a gesture of good will."
- AutoDrive farming. The same hotfix rebalanced rewards that AutoDrive could farm, and the Series 3 update on Jul 13, 2026 closed XP and Credit farming with AutoDrive left running while away. Playground's words: "Auto Drive is meant to be used as an accessibility feature, or for when your hands need a break from driving" (Accessibility and AutoDrive).
- Estates and EventLab. Series 3 also closed Skill Point farming from Estates and an EventLab duplication exploit.
- Leaderboards. Not credits, but related: Playground reset every PR Stunt leaderboard on Nov 2, 2026 after exploits, keeping the Journal items players had earned (PR Stunts).
A "money glitch" video for Forza Horizon 6 is likely to describe one of these. Check its date against the Known Issues and Fixes page before trying it.
