Showcases and Horizon Rush
Forza Horizon 6 earns each Wristband at a Wristband Event, either a Showcase or a Horizon Rush. The two Showcases are Mech My Day, a race against the giant mech Chaser Zero, and Flight Club, and Horizon Rush is a new timed obstacle course at Tokyo City Docks, Sotoyama Ski Resort and Irokawa Space Center.
Forza Horizon 6 has two Showcase Events, Mech My Day (a race against Chaser Zero, the Horizon Festival's racing mech) and Flight Club, and a new event type, Horizon Rush: timed obstacle courses with splits, three-star goals and leaderboards at Tokyo City Docks, Sotoyama Ski Resort and Irokawa Space Center. Both are Wristband Events: each of the seven Wristbands is won at one of them once you have banked enough Festival progress. IGN called the mech stomping toward Tokyo "the wildest Showcase in the series to date" (May 14, 2026).

What is a Showcase in Forza Horizon 6?
A Showcase is the series' staged spectacle: a race against something that is not a car. They return in Forza Horizon 6 as Wristband Events, joined by Horizon Rush. There are two; PC Gamer's review counts only two Showcases (May 14, 2026).
Mech My Day and Chaser Zero
Mech My Day pits you against Chaser Zero, which Playground calls Horizon's racing mech. IGN describes the mech stomping toward Tokyo, and PC Gamer calls it "an unlicensed knock-off Gundam." Finishing it gives "Meching My Way Downtown" (20 Gamerscore).
Flight Club
Flight Club is the second Showcase; PC Gamer describes it as a race against stunt planes. Finishing it gives "Ascending New Heights" (20 Gamerscore).
What is Horizon Rush?
Horizon Rush is new to the series: timed obstacle courses with split times, three-star goals and leaderboards. Playground placed them at Tokyo City Docks, Sotoyama Ski Resort and Irokawa Space Center. The first gives "Carkour!" (10 Gamerscore) and three give "Feel The Rush" (20 Gamerscore). Playground has not published per-course star times; leaderboards show how you compare. Tokyo City itself is on Tokyo City, and the other places on Regions.
How Wristband Events work
Festival progress fills a meter; when it is full, the next Wristband Event opens. Playground says the Wristband Events, including Showcase Events and Horizon Rush obstacle challenges, must be completed to earn the next band. Which of the six later bands uses which event is not set out in Playground's posts, and this page does not guess. The first band, Yellow, is different: it comes from the Horizon Invitational, a race in a 2020 BMW M2 Competition (Campaign and Story). After the Gold Wristband the finale is Legend Island's Colossus, the longest Goliath (Legend Island).
